Round Robin #26

Since this sampler has just begun, I decided to keep this one for this round instead of sending it home in the last Round Robin. Only fair because this is such a large sampler stitched on 16 or 18 count cloth (don't know the type). It was fun to stitch because the theme... to create an aquarium. Challenging because the squares were small for the eyes.

I will be starting a new one for myself in the next round. Because of this, I alternate the samplers for each round.  I am truly disappointed and saddened that one of my samplers have disappeared and have not been seen in almost 2 years. Nobody knows where it is or who last stitched it. Did all this work with only one in return. Hopefully my next one will not disappear like this sampler did.

Heart ATC's

Well.... It has been such a long time since I made a mixed media ATC. Forgot how fun it was. I joined a Heart ATC swap for the upcoming holiday... Valentine's Day. For this, I searched the web for ideas and found one I liked on Stephanie Ackerman's blog, Home Grown Hospitality, via Pinterest.

Happy Groundhog Day!

Well readers... Happy Groundhog Day!

Today we received contradicting predictions across the United States.

In PunxsutawneyPennsilvania, the groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, saw his shadow predicting 6 more weeks of winter.

In Portland, Oregon, the hedgehog, Whiskers J, did not see his shadow predicting an early spring.

Who do you believe? I'm leaning towards the hedgehog this year due to the fact that where I live it has been unusually warm. I could be wrong. Who knows. Just a fun way to predict the weather. I love it.

I honor of today's holiday, I painted two ACEO sized groundhogs.
