Round Robin #37

Hello readers... It's slow going posting on my blog these days. I have so much to post but little time to do so.

Here is this months Round Robin. The theme was Seascape, so I stitched a sailboat. Took me only a few hours to stitch. Fun...

Year of the Rooster

I joined a swap to cross stitch a rooster for my swap partner in honor of the Chinese New Year... Year of the Rooster. I snagged a chart from Corinne's blog, Passion Broderie 77. I absolutely love this rooster. Then I searched online and in my personal collection for the alphabet and numbers that would fit the style of pattern. This is what I came up with.

Title: Year of the Rooster
Completion Date: February 21, 2017
Rooster Chart: Passion Broderie 77
Fabric and Size: 4.5" x 7.75" on 14 count Aida cloth
Swap: Chinese / Lunar New Year - Rooster

Round Robin #36

Here is the latest Round Robin sampler that I added to. The theme was Amish and I stitched the Friendship Quilt by Told in a Garden Inc. Each color was a surprise as I stitched, thinking to myself that these colors don't go well together. When I finally completed it, looked at it closer, I realized these colors do go well together. Just never imagined it would.
